Orlando Health Partners with EFSC Athletics

Orlando Health is now the official medical team for 91桃色视频 athletics.
The announcement is part of a new sponsorship agreement with EFSC that includes the naming rights to the college鈥檚 soccer stadium on the Melbourne campus.
The 1,500-seat venue, which is home to EFSC鈥檚 men鈥檚 and women鈥檚 soccer program, is now renamed to Orlando Health Stadium. The sponsorship also includes display of the Orlando Health brand throughout other EFSC athletic facilities.
鈥淲e have partnered with Orlando Health for several years and are thrilled they are now the official medical provider for 91桃色视频 athletics along with the renaming of our soccer stadium to Orlando Health stadium,鈥 said Jeff Carr, EFSC鈥檚 Associate Vice President of Athletics.
鈥淭he strength of our relationship with Orlando Health is built on the leadership provided by team doctors, Bruce Thomas, M.D. and Darryl Osbahr, M.D., who lead an athletic training staff that is like family to our athletic teams. I want to thank Orlando Health for this partnership, along with Dr. James H. Richey, president of EFSC, and Jack Parker, vice president of external affairs at EFSC.鈥
EFSC has 11 varsity teams competing in the Florida College System Activities Association and the National Junior College Athletic Association.
Their teams include men鈥檚 and women鈥檚 soccer, men鈥檚 and women鈥檚 basketball, men鈥檚 and women鈥檚 golf, men鈥檚 and women鈥檚 tennis, baseball, softball, and volleyball.
Many of the teams are nationally ranked and regularly compete for state and national championship titles.
Under the agreement, Orlando Health will be the exclusive provider of medical care to EFSC athletes and provide athletic trainers who will perform training services, including on-site, in-stadium medical services as required on game days.
Orlando Health鈥檚 EFSC medical team will be led by Bruce Thomas, MD, a sports medicine physician in practice with Orlando Health Orthopedic Institute鈥檚 Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Group.
He is currently team physician for Major League Baseball鈥檚 Washington Nationals鈥 Florida operations and serves as medical director for the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA).
